Who am I
I am a
Chemist at Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Research and
Development,
L.L.C.
My primary responsibility is making molecules that will become new drugs, or
at least facilitate the discovery of new drugs. Before I joined J&J, I
spent five years at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and earned a
Ph.D. degree in chemistry.

Where am I
I am now living in San Diego, CA, near the
beautiful coastline of Torrey Pines State Reserve and
Del Mar. I really like
this place, and am trying to enjoy the sunshine whenever I have time. |

Where am I from
I recently graduated from
Department of Chemistry, University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). My research advisor was professor David Y.
Gin. My graduate study involves the development of novel strategies for
the synthesis of aminoglycosides. If you are interested, you can watch a brief
presentation. |

Before
I came to the US, I obtained BS degree in chemistry from Peking
University at Beijing, China. Peking University is one of the finest
Universities in China. Her campus is so beautiful! Here are some photos
of my favorite campus. I also have established a new
